The seascapes along the northern Scottish coastline have some of the most dramatic views of anywhere that I have seen. Like the landscape, it can be as diverse from the pristine sandy beaches to breathtakingly high, rugged and weather-beaten cliffs that meander their way to the horizon.

With any seascape, weather plays an important part in any scene. The Scottish weather invariably never lets us down. For instance, an Atlantic storm on the rugged coast of the Isle of Lewis which adds high drama and then to a calm day at Findhorn Bay in Moray that emits absolute calmness.

This part of the gallery has been split in the three main categories from which I visit regularly. As I travel further, more categories will be added later.
